GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 774548
Bottom slider panel is not viewed
Last modified: 2021-07-05 11:32:08 UTC
Description of problem: Bottom panel, which is displaying controls for bookmarks, page slider and page label is not displayed in several types of documents (mostly libreoffice and msoffice formats). Documents are uploaded bellow. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-documents-3.22.0-1.fc25.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run gnome-documents 2. Open document Actual results: Bottom panel is not appearing. Expected results: Bottom panel should be shown for few seconds when user moves the mouse or change page via keyboard controls. Download affected files bellow: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1395137
I would also like to add, that it looks like these types of documents (mostly libreoffice and msoffice) are missing the features like: print, rotate and bookmarking. All those features were present in previous versions.
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled). If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines and create a new ticket at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-documents/-/issues/ Thank you for your understanding and your help.
