GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 774513
Cannot access my Google calendars - daily limit exceeded
Last modified: 2016-11-29 14:32:08 UTC
I've added my Google account with Gnome Online Accounts (GOA) and enabled calendar sync. Initially, everything was working fine, but now I keep getting the following error message for all my Google calendars: Failed to open calendar 'xxx': Unable to connect to 'xxx': Cannot open calendar: Failed to login to the server: Daily Limit Exceeded. The quota will be reset at midnight Pacific Time (PT). You may monitor your quota usage and adjust limits in the API console: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/caldav/quotas?project=xxxxxxx A similar bug has been reported at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1346228, but I'm not sure if this problem has been resolved. The link to the Google developer console brings up a page where I get an error message stating that I do not have sufficient permissions to view the page. This bug effectively makes it impossible to use my Google calendars with Evolution.
Just found this: https://git.gnome.org/browse/evolution-data-server/commit/?id=3fa36f8f0be0107c63aaa254e551e3858c781988 Does this solve the problem?
I'm having this issue with evolution 3.22.2 on gentoo.
