Description Adam Hunt 2016-08-22 07:55:44 UTC
As a frequent user of PDF highlighting I find the current interface slow and clunky. I'd like it if it were possible to highlight a section by click-holding the right mouse button and then dragging. Another option would be holding a modifier while dragging but ideally I'd like to see a mouse-only solution.

This could be extended to allow text annotations by double-right-clicking the desired location for the annotation.

So you are opposed to click on the annotation toolbar to have to highlight? Why is this clunky? there is a button for it, probably we could add a shorcut.

Bug 771627 seems the same, with different ideas on how to solve it.
