Changing wallpaper causes gnome-shell memory usage to rise by few MiBs. This is easily noticeable if you use a script which changes wallpaper every X minutes, as I do.

This happens if using system configuration, EOG a.k.a. Image Viewer, gsettings.

This was fixed a while ago, but has been sitting on the stable branch unreleased. I guess it's time for a .4 release, I'll do that in the next couple of days.
