Description Mario Wenzel 2016-07-09 11:06:08 UTC
Since Fedora 24 I switched to the Wayland session because the X-Session no longer detects my trackpad.

If I want to set the resolution of my laptop, only the native resolution of the panel is available. That's no problem at first. But now I attach a projector and want to mirror the screens and this no longer works, since they have no resolution in common.

I am not sure if this is a wayland issue and if so, where exactly to file it.

Since Fedora 24 I can decide between either using the trackpad or attaching a projector but not both.

gnome-control-center's Display panel gets the available resolutions from mutter.
