GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 766503
maybe bring back --save-config
Last modified: 2021-06-10 21:07:29 UTC
While cleaning up my inbox, I found a few-month old private email thread about maybe bringing back --save-config. It had been removed since its primary use was the session manager support which has been removed since 3.8, but apparently some people used to use it directly too.
CCing Stefan, who had started the private email thread.
Jep, that was me, for a developer this solves half of the desktop session needs :) That is creating a snapshot of a terminal setup and restoring this after a reboot.
