GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 766132
quitting the process script-fu strips away all custom scripts
Last modified: 2016-05-10 11:27:13 UTC
if i quit a the process script-fu, Gimp removes all custom scripts from its menus, and refresh scripts too
Why do you quit this process?
because of bug 752529 too. Gimp should be able to restart the process after a script is launched or better, open just for the moment a script is executed.
The Scheme based scripts are run in GIMP using the Script-Fu extension. If you shut down the Script-Fu extension then you will not be able to run any Scheme based scripts until you restart GIMP. This report could be closed as a duplicate of bug #311726. That report covers plans for a replacement for Script-Fu that would run Scheme scripts on demand instead of using a GIMP extension.
