yes, i use the Align tool, i like it very much. But my question was to apply magnetism even to layers.
And yeah, i joined the gim mailing list some time in the past, but for some reason the service didnt work for me and my postings were approved and publicized by your staff instead. A mess in short. Later somebody crazy deleted there all my posts on the mailing lists and i abandoned to use this service.

There is no way to delete posts, and you are not in the ban list.
Did you use the same address you use for bugzilla.

Well, I see you post many UI enhancement requests that need prior discussion but Bugzilla is really the wrong place for this. Only a few people read them while there are much more readers at the mailing lists and the forums they are mirrored to (such as gimpusers.com). So to avoid that your feedback, ideas and thoughts get lost I recommend you again to post them at the gimp-gui mailing list. 

Digging the GIMP developer list for your postings I find a lot in 2010, so they aren't deleted. Perhaps you had difficulties because you didn't use exactly the same mail adress for posting as you did for subscribing? Feel free to join the #gimp IRC channel at irc.gimp.org in case you need help. If you have no IRC client, you can use mibbit.com in a browser.
