GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 763588
Baikal Server calendars are detected but no evens are showing up after sync
Last modified: 2017-04-17 19:35:07 UTC
I run Baikal Server as a caldav carddav server. After entering the url, Gnome Calendar detects the calendar, I have no syncing error but no events are showing up into Gnome Calendar. I run the default nginx config provided with baikal. I don't know if its a bug or if Gnome Calendar do not support Baikal server yet.
Calendar is completely agnostic to the provider, as long as it is a CalDAV/CardDAV server. Does the events show up in Evolution?
Hi Georges, I haven't installed Evolution. I just use evolution-dataserver but I use Thunderbird as mail client. Baikal is working very well with Thunderbird. Gnome environment is not complete enough yet to use Gnome environment applications only it's for that reason I use Thunderbird. I know Gnome teams are working hard to get a complete desktop environment but for the moment I need to use non-gnome component to work efficiently. Would you like some other information about Gnome calendar and baikal ? Just shoot, I'm willing to get you anything. Best,
Hi, if you have a link or a test Baikal server where I can test it, can you please share the link in bug 781421? Thanks in advance. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 781421 ***
