GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 763432
Gnome tweak tool's Startup Applications has no obvious way to add shell scripts
Last modified: 2017-06-08 02:47:43 UTC
Gnome tweak tool's Startup Applications has no obvious way to add shell scripts. Because gnome-tweak-tool is targeted at advanced users, I don't think I'm the only one who had the idea of adding a shell script there to be run when the session launches. However, I can't figure out how to do it because it only lists stuff with .desktop files, apparently. I tried simply entering the full path to the script into the search box, but "Add" remains greyed out. If that worked that'd be quite neat. :-) (wouldn't require any additional buttons/UI elements either)
