Reproducer

CSD Windows are taller than they used to be with the same width and height values obtained from gtk_window_get_size and set with gtk_window_set_default_size.

Try the attached reproducer with gtk+ master and gtk-3-18.

This is normal, this is because now set/get size accounts for CSD as well (bug 756618)
Comment 2 Debarshi Ray 2016-03-01 12:42:44 UTC
I think I can live with applications, which save and restore their window sizes, having taller windows when updating from 3.18.x to 3.19.x. Hopefully, this will be a one-time operation that won't be more than a minor annoyance for end users.
