GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 762549
URL hyperlinks in plain text messages are cut at line breaks
Last modified: 2016-03-30 00:30:57 UTC
Every time I send a URL which is too long to fit in a single line, recipients get an invalid hyperlink which include only the part before the line break. This can also be checked by looking at the message in the Sent folder. This is with Evolution 3.18.5. Here is an example: Message-ID: XXXXXXXXXXX Subject: XXXXXXXXXXXXx From: XXXXXXXXXXXXxxx To: XXXXXXXXXXX Date: XXXXXXXXXX In-Reply-To: XXXXXXXXXXXX References: XXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" X-Mailer: Evolution 3.18.5 (3.18.5-1.fc23) Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-Evolution-Identity: 1356305805.1802.0@milan X-Evolution-Fcc: folder://1311097614.2465.2%40milan/OUTBOX X-Evolution-Transport: 1356305805.1802.1@milan X-Evolution-Source-Folder: folder://1311097614.2465.2%40milan/INBOX X-Evolution-Source-Message: 142000 X-Evolution-Source-Flags: ANSWERED ANSWERED_ALL SEEN X-Evolution-Source: Some text. https://galaxie.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/antares/newsletter.js p?acs=can Some more text.
Created attachment 322674 [details] Example message with incorrect line breaks on reply This might be (or maybe not) related to the fact that when replying to messages, lines which were already quoted in the original message are cut, i.e. the few last words of each quote lines are rejected to the next one, which is awful. See the attached message for example.
