Description :
  Enabling the transparent background option in the profile does not make 
  the background transparent.

Reproducibility : Always

Steps to reproduce :
  - Open a gnome terminal.
  - Select "Current Profile" option from Edit menu.
  - Open the "editing profile" dialog and make the transparent background 
    option active.
      The terminal background  is not made transparent.

Works here. Solaris specific problem, maybe?

Reproduced on a Debian Linux x86 system.

gnome-terminal version 1.9.2 tested on Solaris 9 64 bit. Marking the 
bug as closed.
