data labels fail

Observed behavior:  See attachment.

The X-coordinate is a region (3 columns, 4 rows).
The Y-coordinate is a region (3 columns, 4 rows).

The data labels are of type "Y".
They are evidently treating Y as a single column.

Desired behavior: In the example plot, each of the 8 points should be
labeled with its correct Y value. There are 8 valid points, one at
each end of the four lines.

Version:
gnumeric version '1.12.22'
datadir := '/usr/share/gnumeric/1.12.22'
libdir := '/usr/lib/gnumeric/1.12.22'

custom data labels fail

The same misbehavior is seen for /custom/ data labels (not just Y data labels).
See attachment.

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Once that release is available, you may want to check for a software upgrade provided by your Linux distribution.
