Description frombugzilla 2002-03-24 08:15:47 UTC
I have the option in Preferences "Display - Threads" / "Selection" /
"Middle Mouse Button" / "Loads Article" selected.

When I highlight a thread, then click on that thread with the middle
button, nothing happens. ie. "Load Article" is only processed on an article
that is not currently highlighted.

This is an issue with the gtkclist and gtkctree which would be
annoying to workaround. IMO the best way to solve this is for Pan to
upgrade to the new gtk2 tree widget.

More complaints about this from other users, so I've bitten the bullet
and committed a workaround. It's in CVS now (0.11.91)

I'm preparing for the release of 0.12.0, which is the first
stable release to contain these changes. If you'd like to
be in the credits, please add a comment giving the name you'd
like listed. Thanks!

I'd love to be in the credits; it's nice to be able to help the Open
Source Comunity in any way I can.
Andrew Morgan is my name. Bug-hunter supreme. (sometimes I fix bugs
before I write them!)

Pan is the best newsreader I have found for downloading binaries, and
(with this bug fixed ;) ) will be one of the best for actually reading
news too :)
