Did you build a new GnuCash from git? What is the error? Is there a Scheme traceback?

Right. What commit (the number after the version in the splash screen) is GnuCash and where did you get it? Would you be willing to attach the QIF?

Interesting, still the original 2.6.10 release. I wouldn't have expected it to have gotten that far. Please try the latest nightly build from http://code.gnucash.org/builds/win32/maint.
I am to import QIF with the version 2.6.10-2016-01-08-git-7a975e0+ and now all work well. When it will be available stable version of 2.6.10?
Now that you confirm that this is a duplicate of bug 756335 I'll go ahead and do a snap release as soon as I fix one more SX bug. Another day or three. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 756335 ***
