GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 760208
Revamp the smart playlists UI
Last modified: 2018-01-10 14:47:19 UTC
Music has manual playlists, which the user can add and remove tracks from. It would be really great if there could also be smart playlists which are automatically populated. These could include playlists for most played tracks, a "discovery" playlist (which would play you things you haven't played before, or haven't played in a while), and playlists for different genres. There are wireframes for this feature here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/music/wire-playlists.png And there's also a high resolution mockup: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/music/windowed-playlists.png
Sorry, I should have made it clear that there already is a smart playlists UI, and that this bug is about updating it to include more smart playlists of different types.
