Description H.-Dirk Schmitt 2015-12-19 22:14:35 UTC
The identity configuration for my imap account set the templates Folder as below.

[Mail Composition]
SignImip=true
DraftsFolder=folder://XXXXX/Drafts
TemplatesFolder=folder://XXXXX/Templates

If I create a new template for this identity and try to save it via the menu entry "save as template" it is saved below the (disabled) local account.

The expected behaviour is that the template is saved in the templates folder of the associated imap account. (For "save as draft" it behaves as expected.)

In our default setup the local account is disabled to avoid that our users save data locally. This make the new saved template invisible for them.

The current workaround is to save the template as draft and move it from the draft folder to the template folder.

This problem looks for me as it also blocks a correct implementation of bug #725320

Thanks for a bug report. Even the Templates Folder option is available, it's not much used in the code, except of changing the icon of the folder in the folder tree (approximately said).
