GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 756899
long lines not visible unless clicked open. Some selectable options wished for how to view the log lines.

I'd like to see long system log lines, like with journalctl -l, in the scrollable window not needing to click them all open one by one. When hoverin on top of the line, optionally, show whole line in a "hover-window", wrapped if it doesn't fit to the (whole) screen horizontally otherwise. There could also be an option either have horizontally scrollable window (not so user-friendly) or wrap the lines to fit the width of the window. When wrapping the lines, some intent is needed. Also would like to have an option to move timestamps to the left side of the scrollable window. Or overall more customization. I've used "journalctl -b 0 -f" in a terminal window this far. Just found gnome-logs and I kind of like it, but noticed it just quite do not make it yet.
I added a tooltip to each row, containing the full log text for that entry, to git master. It is not likely that customization to the level that you desire will be added, but individual bugs and feature requests will be considered on their own merits, so please file separate bugs per issue.
