Two circles, which I expect to look the same, but which don't (for me, at least)

Transforms seem to affect filters in a way I cannot quite describe.

In the attached example, I was expecting the result to be two identical-looking circles (this is what happens when I view the example in Safari and Firefox). The actual result is that the right circle is only blurry in the horizontal direction.
