Orca right now has code to try to step around apps becoming non-responsive, i.e. by not spitting up on the "The process appears to be hung." GError we get from AT-SPI2.

While we could keep adding check after check after check, it can be a game of whac-a-mole if the app itself claims to be dead. Perhaps there's something better we could do. Maybe flushing the events, some call to AT-SPI2 (see for instance bug 750531), something else?
