Since upgrading to 3.18, the up/down keys in the folder view no longer change which message is selected. Instead they seem to move the focus between the toolbar buttons and the Search input box.

Thanks for a bug report. It's the same issue as yours bug #756501, which I accidentally marked as a duplicate of bug #755730, which was reported for something else.
