Description lof 2015-10-12 17:34:34 UTC
If you want to connect to a remote storage you need to know the protocol name for your URI.

Sadly there is no in UI clue what is supported and how the protocols are named.

I wasted 20 minutes a few days ago because i didn't know that davs:// is needed for webdav + SSL. Instead i tried webdav://, it didn't work. I then tried to debug my webdav share.

In 3.18 we have the new "connect to server"-bar under "other locations". I think there should be a small question mark button somewhere that explains how to use it and list the supported protocols as well as their protocol "name".
