Arch Linux recently shipped Gnome Shell 3.18, and since then the "Processes" view in the System Monitor appears to have layout troubles.

The area for the process search text input field occupies about half of the whole area, wasting a lot of space that could otherwise be used by the processes table display.
Best see for yourself in the attached screenshots.

This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed in the code repository.
