Description Peter 2015-10-09 14:15:25 UTC
Hello!

Since the upgrade to GNOME 3.18 empathy segfaults on startup:

GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: g_task_propagate_boolean: assertion 'task->result_set == TRUE' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I'm using empathy-3.12.10-3 on Archlinux. This is also occuring on Debian[1].

Furthermore I've tried to turn off my two account and start empathy without it (Zeroconf and XMPP), but empathy also died with a segfault. I set the severity to major, because empathy is simple not working anymore.

Thanks
