Description Adam Williamson 2015-08-26 22:51:43 UTC
With GTK+ 3.17.7, gedit does this annoying thing quite often where you start typing in a line and suddenly it jumps the GtkTextView so the line you're typing in is at the very bottom of the screen, which is jarring and hard to work with.

This seems to be introduced by https://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk+/commit/gtk/gtktextview.c?id=d1381569fdf2abde1535db1fcff07b3c767d396d , which slaf says was erroneously merged before it was ready. He's working on a fix.
