GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 75410
gnome-about links do not respect default URL handler
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
OS - Red Hat Linux 7.1 & Solaris 8. Reproducibility : Always Steps ro reproduce : Always 1) Start gnome about(Type the command "gnome-about" at the command prompt). 2) if i click on any link say "gnome news site" , "Mozilla not found" message is displayed. 3) I found that mozilla not installed. I think gnome-about should be able to invoke default browser(netscape) in the case of mozilla browser not found.
upping priority, clarifying summary a little bit. Should be an easy fix, too- just calling the default_url_handler func, or whatever it's called ;)
These are only GnomeHrefs's, therefore this is a libgnomeui bug
Probably then really a duplicate of bug 71632.
Yes, that's true. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 71632 ***
