Description Ben Davis 2015-07-18 17:47:45 UTC
The help documentation says that to view the toolbar, you click on "View -> Show Toolbar". There is no "View" option anywhere in the menu system. The only way to view the toolbar is to use fullscreen mode, which doesn't make much sense, since fullscreen is typically used for a slideshow.
Comment 1 Felix Riemann 2015-07-19 16:14:29 UTC
That is because the documentation has not been adapted to the UI changes that happened in 3.16.

Since 3.16 the toolbar is gone and some of the items that were in the toolbar went into the "burger menu" (the button with the three bars).

I've updated the docs accordingly for 3.25.91: https://git.gnome.org/browse/eog/log/help/C

Closing as fixed.
