Sekhar: does this work for you in any solaris apps? There is at least
some suggestion in another bug that all keyboard shortcuts are broken
on Solaris.

Lauris: upping to urgent as per discussion in IRC yesterday.
Comment 2 Sekhar Reddy Pulukunta 2002-03-21 03:49:25 UTC
Luis: Yes. None of the keyboard Shortcut keys are working in Solaris .
Comment 3 Luis Villa 2002-03-21 13:38:27 UTC
So then closing, as this is not specific to gnomecc and will be fixed
once the other problem is fixed.
Comment 4 Sekhar Reddy Pulukunta 2002-04-09 10:52:51 UTC
Luis : Now for the some of the applications in solaris short cuts are
working fine .
Now I verified in Linux and Solaris-9 . Both 'Cursor blinks with text
fields' and 'Close' are using C as the short cut .

Its better to reopen this bug. .
Comment 5 Luis Villa 2002-04-14 22:04:15 UTC
Ah, OK. Reopening.
Comment 6 Luis Villa 2002-04-19 19:39:52 UTC
Re-titling. Should have done that earlier.
Comment 7 jacob berkman 2002-04-19 19:46:06 UTC
the alt+c shortcut works for me on solaris - it switches focus between
close and the checkbox.

if the summary is correctly describing this bug, it's minor (easy to
fix). there are going to be collisions - esp. with translations - and
it's handled properly in gtk 2.
Comment 8 Luis Villa 2002-04-22 06:16:09 UTC
Yeah, closing. Hadn't known gtk2 Did The Right Thing.
Comment 9 Mamatha 2002-10-10 14:19:41 UTC
Tested on Solaris 8 build 11 (Oct 1 snapshot from CVS).
Now for 'Cursor Blinks in the Text Fields' the shortcut key is changed
as 'Alt+b' and 'Alt+c' is for to close the 'Preferences' window.
So i guess this bug can be closed.
