GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 751755
using plantuml cause a popup "openwith" windows when calling java.exe
Last modified: 2015-12-30 10:20:23 UTC
With a version of doxygen that i compiled with 1.8.10 sources. When i try to use generate plantuml graph, keep having a pop "OK/CANCEL" windows that ask with which program would i like to open "java.exe". The only choice there was adobe acrobat reader (dont know why). by hitting cancel, the graph didnot generate but doxygen was continuing correctly. But i wronly hit the OK button once, which caused windows to associate all ".exe" file on my PC to open by default in ACROBAT READER, creating a mess on my PC (i.e not able to execute anything anymore). I recompiled doxygen with line 104 of plantuml.cpp changed to this : if ((exitCode=portable_system(pumlExe,pumlArgs,TRUE))!=0) and everything working fine. (TRUE instead of FALSE)
Thanks. I was able to reproduce the issue and your fix works indeed. I'll include it in the next git update.
This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in doxygen version 1.8.11. Please verify if this is indeed the case. Reopen the bug if you think it is not fixed and please include any additional information that you think can be relevant (preferably in the form of a self-contained example).
