Description Luc Pi 2015-05-04 17:32:00 UTC
I don't want the sidebar in nautilus.

I set gsetting 'start-with-sidebar' to false

$ gsettings get org.gnome.nautilus.window-state start-with-sidebar
false

However any new window still has the sidebar.

Pressing F9 a first time does nothing visible.
Pressing F9 a second times finally hides the sidebar.

This is systematic.

This is somehow similar to Bug 699165 "Need to press F9 twice in nautilus when starting without sidebar", but in opposite way.
