This is probably bug 69333. Try upgrading to the latest revisions of gnome-core and gnome-libs. Alternatively, some people have reported that this stops after they delete ~/.gnome/panel.d/. Marking dup of bug 69333. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 69333 ***
