Description teramind 2015-04-10 04:53:09 UTC
Here,
https://extensions.gnome.org/about/#no-detection

you write:

"If you are using GNOME 3.4 or newer and installation still doesn't work, check to make sure that the "GNOME Shell Integration" plugin is installed and enabled in your browser preferences."

but you don't say what GNOME Shell Integration is and where to get it and HOW to install it. I stressed google, but it is not easy to find. I still don't know what it is. Maybe a plugin for a browser?? Maybe firefox?

Some more information here would be highly appreciated.

regards

Plus, if I look in firefox for gnome extentions.
There is no extention with that name.
Only:

GNOME Theme Tweak
GNOME 35.1
GNOME Keyring

...

Firefox should display "Gnome Shell Integration" when going to the web address "about:plugins".

On most systems the file should be located under /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libgnome-shell-browser-plugin.so

Those are neither GNOME extensions nor Firefox extensions.
No idea where you found that list (no steps to reproduce given). :)
