screen capture of the gucharmap window illustrating faulty rendering

I have tried changing fonts and restarting gucharmap... it's been this way for a couple months. It seems fully functional except for the rendering. I can search for a character and copy it, and when selected, the character renders fine. But when unselected, characters are not viewable. See the attachment.

I am using version 3.14.2, the latest release for Fedora 21.

This is fixed in 3.16.0.
