GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 746801
Most visited is empty by default
Last modified: 2015-04-23 14:41:23 UTC
Created attachment 300346 [details] screenshot When you start using epiphany for the first time, the most visited view is empty (see attached screenshot). This looks bad - the first time you see it, there's a huge amount of grey space, with one or two number of thumbnails hanging in space. Two possibilities for resolving the bug: 1. Prepopulate most visited with sites of your choosing (this is what Firefox does). 2. Show blank placeholders where the thumbnails will go.
Another possibility would be to show the symbolic Web icon, as in https://wiki.gnome.org/Design/OS/EmptyStates "No history found Pages you frequently visit will appear here" I think that's what I would prefer. But I guess there is a reason you didn't suggest it?
Sorry Allan! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 683582 ***
