s/foo/bar without trailing slash should work

s/foo/bar/ works, s/foo/bar doesn't. The trailing slash is not mandatory. Actually even s/foo should work (deleting foo, as it's the same as s/foo//).
Fixed in commit 5adb98e59c24fee27e1d0e106f13b31f17651033
