Manipuri-MM translations GNUcash

Currently "Manipuri" language (Meetei Mayek Script) is not represented in GNUCash. Attaching zip file of "mni-mm.po" with this bug for committing to GITHUB.
Comment 1 Frank H. Ellenberger 2015-03-10 05:19:43 UTC
msgfmt -c mni-mm.po
mni-mm.po:7: warning: header field 'Project-Id-Version' still has the initial default value
mni-mm.po:27303: 'msgstr' is not a valid C format string, unlike 'msgid'. Reason: The character that terminates the directive number 1 is not a valid conversion specifier.
msgfmt: found 1 fatal error

I replaced line 7 by
"Project-Id-Version: gnucash-2.6\n"

and removed line 27301: #, c-format
to fix 27303 - it is no c-format

After reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meithei_language#Writing I renamed it to mni.po.
Just in case you finish the translation in bengali script too, we can decide, which should be the default and the other should become a suffix @mtei or @beng.

BTW: can you suggest a font to display the Meithei script? I fear we will get questions by users only seeing sqares or questionn marks.

Just a few notes for the future:

Your used POT is several version behind the current state. To get more recent messages in your file follow the msgmerge branch of http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Translation#Initial_processing_of_the_translation_file

The header field Language should usually use the same abbreviation as the filename, mni in this case.

Can you submit the respective http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Translation#The_glossary_file too?

commit 8d188bcb9970e74906919b641caaeee1ba8594dd

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Once that release is available, you may want to check for a software upgrade provided by your Linux distribution.

Bug id- 745598 is already filed for Manipuri Language using Bengali Script. I have also uploaded the corrected mni-bn.po file for the said bug.

I got two links for the said font. But, I am not too sure the licences under which these fonts are available for download and use.

1. http://tabish.freeshell.org/eeyek/download.html

2. http://e-pao.netepPageExtractor.asp?src=MeiteiMayek.Install_Meitei_Mayek_Font.html

Thanks for the links.
While the second was broken, I found
http://e-pao.net/epPageExtractor.asp?src=MeiteiMayek.meetei_mayek_keys.html.. Page with functional download link and key mapping

I added them to http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Published_tools#Fonts and set a link in http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Locale_Settings#Rare_Fonts
