GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 745431
TelepathyClient: use polari for IRC channels
Last modified: 2015-03-03 00:24:50 UTC
polari is the GNOME app for IRC, empathy is for everything else So prefer polari to empathy for IRC channels. We don't need to check that either exists (even though polari is not a core app) because mission control tries every handler if the preferred one fails. Depends on bug 745418 for polari to be mission control activatable.

that would be nice
Review of attachment 298260 [details] [review]: I don't like that we are hardcoding anything there (and I have a half-finished patch lying around that checks for running handlers first), but surely better than what we have right now (from my naturally-biased point of view) ...
