Description Peter Deal 2015-02-10 19:00:17 UTC
The Accounting Period is currently in GnuCash Preferences, which are applied to all company files. However, a user may have multiple companies that have different fiscal year-ends. Therefore, the Accounting Period should not be part of Preferences but should be part of the company data file, in the GUI it should be in File > Properties > Business. This way each company can have a different fiscal year-end than other companies.
