GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 743800
Image Viewer goes to background after opening
Last modified: 2015-02-02 18:19:28 UTC
When I open an image from nautilus, or when I call eog from terminal, the new Image Viewer window goes to the background instead of being in front, as expected. This causes a bad behaviour when you open an image, and press ctrl+w to close it, it closes the nautilus window (which was in front) instead of closing the Image Viewer window, as desired.
If you use eog-3.4.x you are likely hitting bug 582931, which was fixed in eog-3.11.1. --- Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 582931 ***
