Description Lasse Schuirmann 2015-01-03 11:42:24 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
Preconditions: Have at least one project in gitg
1. Start gitg
2. Right-click on a project

Expected results:
The project should be selected since I right clicked it.

Actual results:
Nothing is selected.

Actually I'd propose not to use selection mode here since you only offer one action (delete). It would be faster and easier for the user to have an x on the right side which spares him some clicks compared to selection mode. If you plan to have other options though be sure to ignore this comment :)

We tried first to have a permanent delete (X button) for each row, permanently visible. However, we found that this unnecessarily cluttered the UI with an action that is only used sparingly. Hence we went with the current selection-mode behavior.

I agree that right-clicking should select the row which was clicked.

This problem has been fixed in the unstable development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain that newer version.
