Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2014-12-21 15:09:57 UTC
For some reason (possibly becaused I used the geolocation service back then?) when i start gnome weather on my laptop, it always shows Edimburgh.

I click the "Locations" button on the headerbar, search and select Montreal (CA), but whenever I restart the app it resets to Edimburgh.

It shouldn't require geoclue/geolocation to work. Just save whatever city the user last selected when geolocation is turned off.
Comment 1 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2015-01-04 02:30:29 UTC
And it's even sillier than that actually: it does not remember any recently selected city. The list of recent locations is always the same no matter what I search for.

Yes, this was a bug. It also took more to code to fix than
I expected.
And unfortunately I was delayed for ages because gnome-weather
is a side project on a side of the side :D

Fixed in master, please reopen if you can reproduce it again.
