Description Silviu C. 2014-11-23 17:59:24 UTC
Hello,

If I change the extension of a png file to jpg or gif, the utility the opens it should not care about the extension. eog does and warns me that the file format is not the one indicated by the extension but does nothing to try and display the contents of the file.

GIMP, Inkscape and Shotwell don't do this.
