Description bobbaluba 2014-10-26 09:57:40 UTC
Arch Linux x86_64
Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 / Nvidia Geforce GT 750 M / Nvidia Geforce GTX 260

After waking the computer from sleep, the background and lock screen is replaced with either static of a pure white color. I can set a new background, and it will look normal again, but the next time i suspend and resume the problem is back.

This only happens with nvidia GPUs. I tried with radeon r9 280, using open source drivers, and the problem dissappeared.

This happens on two separate installs of Arch Linux, with three different gpus. It did not happen in 3.12

I have tried disabling all my extensions, but the problem persists.

After restarting gnome-shell with alt+f2 r, the correct wallpaper is back.
