Description János Illés 2014-10-24 10:12:18 UTC
I experience a regression since I updated from Gnome 3.12 to 3.14

When I click on an application icon in the right side of the message tray, the click event is sometimes not received.

When the click is not received, the message tray closes before releasing the mouse button, when the click event is received the message tray stays open until the mouse button is released.

The behavior is random, the click event is lost about 8 times out of 10.

I only experience this with the so-called system tray icons. Gnome-shells own icons like "Removable Devices" icon work every time.

Duplicate of bug 733472?
Comment 2 János Illés 2014-10-24 11:10:53 UTC
Thanks for your comment. I can successfully click on the icons by not clicking on the icon as said on the mentioned bug report.

This is indeed a duplicate, sorry.

There's nothing to be sorry about - better file a duplicate than miss a bug.
