Description Brian J. Murrell 2014-10-21 13:13:49 UTC
When I have a file-roller (3.10.2.1) open on an archive and I try to open a second one I get an error:

GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NotSupported: Application does not handle command line arguments

Surely one should be able to open more than one archive at a time, yes?

Apparently gthumb ha{d|s} the same issue. It {is|was} fixed with:

https://git.gnome.org/browse/gthumb/commit/?h=gthumb-3-2&id=e99664c67254fee3df1b53caa2e2a67b0bb86576

Is there any reason why there has been zero activity on this ticket? Was enough information not provided? I can't imagine that to be the case given that I even provided a reference to another application that had the same problem and how it was fixed.

Surely this is just a patching exercise at this point, no?

So this is a duplicate of bug #722492, it was fixed in version 3.12.0
