Description Adrian Custer 2014-09-05 10:44:10 UTC
Thanks for this updated port (i.e. v3.13.91) of Gedit to Mac OS X!

When selecting a different "Color scheme" using the arrow keys, a single click of either 'Up Arrow' or 'Down Arrow' moves two rows in the UI. That is a single key stroke moves the selection by skipping the next entry and moving to the subsequent entry.

Open Gedit
Open Preferences (Gedit menu > Preferences)
Select Font & Colors
Click in middle of visible Color Scheme list
=> one entry is selection
Click on the 'Down arrow' key
=> selection changes not to *next* lower entry, but to entry *two* below
Click on the 'Up arrow' key
=> selection goes back to original selection, not the entry one above

cheers,
 ~adrian

So I made a temporary local fix for this which means the issue will be resolved in the upcoming release, however bug 736125 should still be solved properly. I'll leave this bug open until a proper fix goes into gtk+.

Mass-closing of all gedit bugzilla tickets.

Special "code" to find again all those gedit bugzilla tickets that were open before the mass-closing:

2bfe1b0590a78457e1f1a6a90fb975f5878cb60064ccfe1d7db76ca0da52f0f3

By searching the above sha256sum in bugzilla, the gedit contributors can find again the tickets. We may be interested to do so when we work on a specific area of the code, to at least know the known problems and possible enhancements.

We do this mass-closing because bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org.
