Description idra 2014-06-27 14:38:28 UTC
It would be extremely useful if quoted text could be collapsed and expanded on demand in messages.

In some long discussions on various mailing lists people leave a lot of quoted text and add just a tiny bit of text at the end, if you are already aware of the conversation being able to have quoted text collapsed by default would make for more efficient reading as then only the relevant new added comment would be immediately visible in the preview w/o having to scroll down a lot.

A button (with keyboard shortcut) to switch between viewing modes using a CSS modification to conceal quoted text could be a simple implementation of this.
