A line that only changed a white space is difficult to see.
Previously gitg bolded the white space changes so you can see that the change is a white space without looking slowly along the entire line.

Can we have that back?

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
