With Debian Sid/unstable and all GNOME Control Center versions up to 3.8.5, it is impossible to stop any print jobs. Unlocking the control and stopping the daemon, it does not work.

The downstream report in the Debian BTS has the ID 743236 [1].

this is the same bug as in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=669679. I hope that we'll get to it soon.
